I have been drawing, painting, photographing and writing my entire life. I made it my "career" a little more than fifteen years ago. My portraits are a labor of love and many combine my photography skills with drawing, painting, and varnishing. Every one is unique. My goal is to always create art that is timeless, stirring to the heart and personal - but never "stiff"!
My journey has been an exciting one. I have earned the titles of Master Photographer, Master Artist, Photographic Craftsman and have had more than 40 images included in the prestigious Loan Collection for Professional Photographers of America. I thank the Lord for allowing me to meet, work, and teach so many wonderful people along the way! My portraiture now hangs in lovely homes all over the continental United States and in a few places beyond its borders. It has been awarded on the International level over and over again. And, even after all of these years, it leaves me yearning to create something new. There is nothing better than that!

Since an early age, I was fascinated by The Arts. I looked at my uncle in amazement as he played with his enormously huge and shiny new camera. It had all the bells and whistles. It was then that I knew I wanted to be a photographer.
While in High School, my art teacher inspired my creativity and did not allow me to settle for the ordinary and encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone, so I could be more innovative. I went on to drawing, painting and making clay sculptures that were exhibited in a year-end art display. She taught me patience and perseverance. In college, I was exposed to African Art which led me to explore and immerse myself in everything it had to offer. This had a profound lifelong influence on my work.
I am a passionate photographic artist, with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. I currently an active member on the Board of The Professional Photographers of Massachusetts (PPAM), I hold a certification degree, CPP, by PPA and have the honor of servicing as Liaison for the CPP program for MA.
George and Gail are a husband and wife team specializing in Theater and Portrait Photography. They first met in 1993 and even at that point George was already handing over his paychecks...Gail was his bank teller! While it was love at first sight, it took eight years for them to finally tie the knot. They’ve been a dynamic duo ever since.
They started ASA Photographic in 1996 photographing weddings, added theater photography in 2002 and then began portrait work in 2006. In 2008, with the intention of growing their portrait line, they found a home for their business in the historic Faulkner Mills of North Billerica. It was another "love at first sight” moment when they first walked into the space that became their studio where ASA Photographic, and their newer brand, Lucozzi Portraits, now call home.
While they can each stand alone in the photography world, they are even better as a team. Gail, a Massachusetts native, fell in love with photography in her teens when she discovered its ability to capture emotion and its power to tell a story. She brings a feminine touch, a mind for business, and the attention to detail that all clients deserve.
Along with photographing, she handles the scheduling, sales and customer service aspects of the business.
With his initial education focused on Engineering and Design and later adding formal training in photography and lighting at New England School of Photography, George is ASA's technical mind. He keeps the business up to date with equipment, software and techniques in shooting, processing and printing. He is responsible for all the data and file management and is our primary photographer in the business.
George is also a Massachusetts native, born and raised in the Boston area. His love of photography developed in his teenage years when he came across his father’s old camera and started photographing around New England.

Beauty & Boudoir Seminar
In this class, I will focus mostly on how I photograph in a small space by manipulating natural light and creating sets. These techniques cross over nicely on a wedding day for general bride getting ready portraits too. I will show you images of my set ups for many different qualities of light as well was the finished portrait that was created with that set. We will touch a bit on continuous light sources as well. I will share with you my camera settings and touch upon my editing and post production techniques as well. I do use the same techniques for my senior portraits girls and boys too.
We will also review posing techniques and how to get your client to relax and trust you, making the connection you want to help make beautiful images. Studio atmospheres and offerings are also a big part of the experience and I will also give you a glimpse into that.
I will also give information on the programs I use to run my business from studio management software, design programs, product resources and all others that apply. I am happy to share my pricing and collections with you and marketing will also be a conversation as well.
Will leave the last 10 minutes of the class for questions and answers on any part of the class. So be sure to take notes!

No one ever talks about it, but owning your own photography business can be difficult, we have all experienced struggles at one time or another, but there is no shame in it! You are not alone, and we need to be able to talk about it and support each other! We want to inspire you to ‘Turn It Around’! Come and hear us share our story of the ups and downs we have had and what we have done to stay in business and prosper.
At one time we only had $79 in our bank account, that seemed like an obvious point to fold up shop. But for some reason our accountant insisted that we keep the doors open a bit longer and we trusted him to tell us when to quit. Photography was the only career we knew, and we had kids and ourselves to support, so we had to figure out how to make it work and to be able to pay ourselves. And we did!
We will share our multi step process to ‘Turn It Around’, so that you too can keep your doors open! We’ll talk about you, your business, your clients and how to fit it all together to create the right formula for your business to succeed. You will leave with ideas that you can implement immediately to get things rolling in the right direction. You will feel inspired and hopeful about the future of your business, don’t go it alone, we’re all in this together!
